TERMS OF SERVICE

The online store on the website www.carapau.com.pt is governed by the following terms and conditions, which the client undertakes to comply with, and Carapau may, at any time, amend, in whole or in part.

Prices and products

All the products displayed are handmade by CARAPAU. As such, we cannot guarantee that they will always be exactly the same as depicted in the image. Much of the charm and value of these products comes from the fact that the handmade work is impossible to duplicate and unique, as well as the quality of the materials we use.
The prices are presented in euros and include vat at the applicable legal rate at the time of purchase, to which the respective shipping costs shall be added.
The prices and specifications of the products presented on this website may be changed by CARAPAU, without any prior notice.

  

Orders

To place an order, the client must follow the usual online shopping process: use the buttons next to each item to select quantity and/or size, and proceed to checkout to finalise the order, in accordance with the instructions.

Delivery

All of the products available are produced to order, that is, there may not be previously existing stock and the product will be produced specifically for the client. As such, delivery is not immediate, takes 8 or 10 days to delivery. 

Shipment

Shipping costs may vary according to the destination, weight, size, and total volume of the order and will always be calculated before the order is finalised.
Shipments are made via CTT or TNT, and the transport time varies depending on the country of destination.
If the client resides outside the european union, the client should be aware that the customs authorities in their home country may charge additional customs fees. CARAPAU is not responsible for such fees, that may vary by country.

 

Form of payment

The Customer can pay online by Credit card ((Visa, Mastercard, Maestro) via the STRIPE solution or by Paypal.
The Client guarantees CARAPAU that he has the necessary authorizations to use the payment method chosen by him, when validating the order form. Purchases are debited to the customer’s account when the order is processed.
 CARAPAU uses all necessary means to ensure the security and confidentiality of data transmitted online. For this purpose, the site uses a secure SSL (Secure Socket Layer) payment method that encrypts your bank details when they are transmitted over the network. You will notice that the transmission is encrypted by software as soon as the padlock symbol appears in your browser. The transaction is carried out via the Stripe online payment solution, which alone has the banking information provided on the site at the time of payment.
CARAPAU reserves the right to suspend any order management and delivery in the event of refusal of authorization of payment by credit card from officially accredited organizations or in the event of non-payment. 
CARAPAU reserves the right to refuse to make a delivery or to honour an order from a Customer who has not fully or partially paid for a previous order or with whom a payment dispute is being administered.

Exchanges and returns

Though we do not offer refunds, we do want you to LOVE your animal and will be more than happy to offer an exchange on damaged or defective products. Please notify us within 3 days of receiving your order and we will work something out. We want all our customers to be happy!

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

We cannot be liable for lost or damaged goods. We also cannot be responsible for items that are damaged in your care.
We take great joy in creating all of our products and want our customers to be completely satisfied with their purchase.

 

ORDER CANCELLATION
In case you change your mind, orders can be cancelled up to 2 days since the day of purchase.

 

REFUNDS
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

 

LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

EXCHANGES
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info.carapau@gmail.com.

 

SHIPPING
To return your product, send us an email at info.carapau@gmail.com for more information.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Notices:

We make every effort to ensure that the information presented is correct and free any typos or errors and, whenever these occur, we shall correct them as soon as possible. if any doubt arises, the client should contact us via email info.carapau@gmail.com.
Due to the type of computer used, colour settings, browser or others, the colours of the images shown may differ from the actual colours. CARAPAU cannot be held responsible for these differences.
