Deliveries from the online shop on the www.carapau.com.pt website are governed by the terms and conditions set out herein, which the Customer undertakes to fulfil. CARAPAU may, at any time and without prior notice, change all or part of the terms and conditions set out here.
Prices and Products
The CARAPAU website is dedicated to the online sale. The prices shown are in Euros and include VAT at the legal rate in force at the time of purchase, to which will be added, depending on the delivery option chosen by the Customer, the costs of the respective applicable postage. The prices and specifications of the products on this website may be altered by CARAPAU without prior notice.
Delivery
All orders confirmed by CARAPAU will be delivered to the address specified by the Customer when placing the order. After confirming your order, you will receive a first email informing you that your order has been received. A second email informing you the tracking number of your order and you can follow it with an estimated date.
Shipping Information
We ship to Europe, Canada and US. We hope that your purchases from the CARAPAU online shop are quick, easy and comfortable. The shipping cost depends on the destination, the value of the order and the category of products purchased.
Shipping Costs
Shipping costs may vary according to the destination, weight, size, and total volume of the order and will always be calculated before the order is finalised.
Delivery Times
All of the products available are produced to order, that is, there may not be previously existing stock and the product will be produced specifically for the client. As such, delivery is not immediate, takes 8 or 10 days to delivery. Once your order has been dispatched, we will send you an e-mail with a tracking number so that you can follow it and have an estimate of the delivery date.
Delivery Information
Deliveries are made on working days, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. No deliveries are made on Saturdays or Sundays. Delivery times are the sole responsibility of the carrier and are not the responsibility of CARAPAU. To check this information, please contact the carrier listed in the order dispatch email. CARAPAU cannot be held responsible for any delivery instructions you give to the delivery company. If, for example, you ask the delivery company to leave your order in a different location to the one indicated at the time of ordering (e.g. in a shed or garage, or with a neighbour), we cannot accept responsibility for the non-receipt of the order.
No refund of shipping costs will be made in case of delivery within a longer period than those indicated.
We recommend that you unpack the goods in front of the delivery person. However, if you notice that the product is damaged, it must be indicated on the delivery note, otherwise the liability of the deliverer cannot be engaged.
Customs
If you have placed an order to a country outside the European Union, please note that customs duties and import taxes are invoiced once the package has arrived in the destination country. As your order is held back by customs, you may have to pay additional fees and taxes. These costs must be paid by the recipient of the package (this also applies to retail and wholesale businesses). Unfortunately, we have no control over the amount of these fees and are unable to determine the amount since customs clearance policies and import taxes vary greatly from one country to another.
